Dailybuz vs the alternatives
Most Indian SMBs end up paying for three or four of the tools below at once, then paying again — in time — to keep them in step. Dailybuz is one system at one price per person. Here is how it compares, including the places the others are still ahead.
What each one covers
Module coverage as sold today. “Limited” means it exists but is not comparable; “costs extra” means a paid add-on or third-party integration.

Head to head
Dailybuz vs Zoho One
Bundle of 40+ separate applicationsWhy teams choose Dailybuz
Zoho One is forty products, not one. Each keeps its own data and they are joined by integrations you configure and then maintain — so a sale in CRM reaches Books when a sync says so, and reconciling the two is somebody's job. Dailybuz is a single database: the POS sale, the ledger entry and the customer record are the same rows, so there is nothing to sync and nothing to reconcile. At roughly a fifth of the per-user price.
Where Zoho One is ahead
More breadth: 40+ apps including expense travel, e-signature and a BI suite that Dailybuz does not attempt.
Dailybuz vs Odoo
Open-source ERP, unified databaseWhy teams choose Dailybuz
Odoo is powerful and almost never bought alone — the list price is the start, and a partner-led implementation is typically a project in its own right before anyone logs in, plus someone technical to keep it upgraded. Dailybuz is opinionated on purpose: you sign up, your team is working the same afternoon, and the price on the page is the price. WhatsApp is the primary channel rather than a module you add.
Where Odoo is ahead
Deeper in manufacturing, MRP and field service, with a large module ecosystem for heavy customisation.
Dailybuz vs TallyPrime + a separate CRM
The Indian status quo — desktop accounting plus something elseWhy teams choose Dailybuz
Tally does accounting and nothing else, on a desktop in your office. Customers, staff, stock and conversations live in other tools, and the joining-up is done by hand, by you, every month. Dailybuz keeps real double-entry books with the same GST outputs your CA expects — and keeps them alongside the sale that created the entry, in a browser, from anywhere. Your accountant can still have their export.
Where TallyPrime + a separate CRM is ahead
Decades of statutory depth, and every accountant in India already knows it.
Dailybuz vs Freshsales / Freshworks
CRM and support suiteWhy teams choose Dailybuz
Freshworks sells and supports; it does not run a business. No ledger, no payroll, no stock, no POS — so you buy it and then buy the rest, and pay per user for each. Dailybuz covers the same pipelines and shared inbox and then keeps going into books, staff and stock, on one bill and one login.
Where Freshsales / Freshworks is ahead
A more mature CRM, with stronger telephony and a full support desk.
Dailybuz vs Keka / greytHR
HR and payroll platformsWhy teams choose Dailybuz
Dailybuz already does the HR most SMBs actually run on every day: attendance with GPS punch-in, leave, payroll runs, payslips, documents and hiring. What it adds is everything around them — the payroll cost posts straight to the P&L instead of being re-keyed, and the same seat covers your customers and your books. An HR-only tool is a second subscription, a second login and a second export.
Where Keka / greytHR is ahead
Deeper statutory payroll: PF and ESI challans, Form 16 and full-and-final settlement, which Dailybuz has on its roadmap rather than shipped.
Dailybuz vs Vyapar / Khatabook
Billing and khata apps for very small businessesWhy teams choose Dailybuz
These are billing apps, not systems of record — no team inbox, no pipelines, no payroll, no real double-entry books, and no way for two people to work in them properly. The usual story is that they work until the fifth or sixth hire and then everything moves to spreadsheets. Dailybuz is built for the business you are about to be, and the migration you avoid is worth more than the monthly difference.
Where Vyapar / Khatabook is ahead
Cheaper, and enough if all you will ever need is a GST invoice and a list of who owes you.
Where Dailybuz is still growing
We would rather tell you what is coming than let you find out after you have signed up. Nothing below ships until it ships — this list shortens, it does not get reworded.
E-invoicing (IRN) and e-way bills
In progressDirect IRN generation against the GST portal, and e-way bills for goods movement. Mandatory for businesses above the turnover threshold, so this leads the queue.
Bank reconciliation
In progressImport a statement and match it against the ledger, so the books close without a spreadsheet.
Credit and debit notes
NextSales returns and adjustments as first-class documents that flow into the GST return.
Recurring invoices
NextRetainers and subscriptions billed on a schedule without re-keying.
Deeper payroll compliance
NextPF and ESI challans, Form 16, and full-and-final settlement. Today Dailybuz computes and posts payroll; the statutory filing paperwork is not generated for you.
Two-factor authentication
NextTOTP on login, for workspaces holding payroll and banking data.
Multi-currency accounting
PlannedSeveral currencies inside ONE workspace, with exchange differences posted properly. Today each workspace picks its operating currency (14 supported — ₹, $, €, £, AED and more) and everything renders in it; what is not built yet is mixing currencies in the same books.
Manufacturing and production planning
PlannedBills of materials, work orders and material planning. Not started — if production planning is your core need today, Dailybuz is not yet that tool.
Straight answers
Dailybuz vs Zoho One — which is better for an Indian SMB?
For most Indian SMBs, Dailybuz. It covers CRM, HR, accounting, retail and projects in one application for ₹799 per user per month, against roughly ₹3,700 for Zoho One — about a fifth of the price. The bigger difference is architectural: Zoho One is forty separate products joined by integrations you configure and maintain, so data moves between them on a sync. Dailybuz is one database, so a POS sale, its ledger entry and the customer record are the same rows. Zoho is the better answer if you specifically need its long tail of apps, such as expense travel or its BI suite.
Dailybuz vs Odoo — what is the difference?
Time to value and total cost. Dailybuz is ready on signup — your team is working the same afternoon, WhatsApp is the primary channel rather than an add-on, and the price on the page is the price. Odoo is a deeper ERP, but it is rarely bought alone: a partner-led implementation is usually a project before anyone logs in, and it needs someone technical to keep it upgraded. Odoo is the right choice if you need manufacturing and production planning, which Dailybuz does not have.
Can Dailybuz replace Tally?
For day-to-day books, yes. Dailybuz keeps real double-entry accounting — chart of accounts, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and GST reports — and sales, purchases and payroll post to it automatically instead of being re-keyed from another system. It also does what Tally does not: customers, staff, stock and conversations sit alongside the entries, in a browser, from anywhere. Tally still has decades more statutory depth, and most businesses keep handing their CA an export at year end, which Dailybuz supports.
Is Dailybuz cheaper than the alternatives?
Against anything comparable, yes. At ₹799 per user per month (₹639 billed annually, excluding GST) with every module included, Dailybuz is cheaper per user than Zoho One and Odoo Standard, and it replaces the separate CRM, HR and accounting subscriptions most teams are already paying for in parallel. A billing-only app such as Vyapar costs less because it does less — one price for invoices, against one price for CRM, HR, payroll, books and POS.
