Dailybuz for restaurants, bars, pubs and cafés

Table billing with kitchen orders, liquor stock counted by the peg in millilitres, bills that tax food and liquor correctly, and a WhatsApp inbox for guests.

Start free trial 7 days, every module, no card required.

Founding customer offer: 50% off your first payment. Use code FOUNDER50 at checkout. It comes off the plan price before GST, on monthly or annual billing.

The problem, plainly

The till is one screen, the kitchen works from a slip that can be lost, and the bar is counted by eye. A missing peg and a free-poured cocktail look the same on the monthly count, and the dish that loses money looks like every other dish.

How the day runs on Dailybuz

01

Orders from the table

Take the order on the touch POS, keep it open against a table, and send it to the kitchen — with an 80 mm KOT slip if you want one. Settle when the guests leave, or split the bill across cash, card and UPI.

02

Liquor by the peg

Bottles come in as millilitres and every peg sold takes its measure out, so the balance is kept in the unit the liquor leaves in. A cocktail with a recipe takes each ingredient out in its own ml, and damage and spillage are logged against the bottle instead of disappearing.

03

Bills that tax things correctly

Food carries GST at 5%, or 18% if you set it so. Alcohol for drinking is outside GST, so a liquor line is never charged a tax that is not GST. State liquor VAT differs by state and is not added to the bill for you. A service charge is optional, off by default, and can be removed at the table.

04

Guests on WhatsApp, the day in the books

Booking and party enquiries reach your WhatsApp number as a shared inbox every staff member can answer, and an event night goes out as a broadcast to saved contacts. Close the shift for a Z-report; the takings post to the ledger.

Asked by restaurants, bars, pubs and cafés

Can food and liquor go on the same bill?

Yes. Each line is food or liquor and is taxed by its kind: food at the GST rate you set, liquor outside GST. A bill with only liquor says so instead of printing a GST line.

Does the till send the bill to the guest on WhatsApp?

No. The bill prints on an 80 mm thermal printer. WhatsApp is for conversations and broadcasts: guests message your number into the shared inbox, and you send approved templates to saved contacts.

Will it work for a bar outside Karnataka?

Billing, the kitchen queue and liquor stock in millilitres are not state-specific. Excise rules and liquor VAT differ by state, and the bill does not add VAT for you, so check both against your own licence.
